FAAR Video Studio

A Member Benefit Included with Your Dues

The FAAR Video Studio helps members create professional, on-camera content without investing in equipment or renting space. This benefit is designed for short, focused recording sessions so you can show up online consistently and confidently.

What the Studio Is (and Isn’t)

This space is ideal for:

  • Social media videos (Reels, Shorts, YouTube)

  • Market updates and educational content

  • Personal branding and talking-head videos

  • Member-operated headshots (space only – photographer must be provided)

Please note:

  • FAAR does not offer headshot photography services

  • No video editing or post-production is provided

  • Teleprompter system (script required)

  • Choice of landscape or vertical filming

  • Multiple backdrop and room options

  • Optional staff assistance (selected during booking)

Available Spaces & Backgrounds

Members may book one space per appointment:

FAAR Studio

  • White, green screen, or black backdrop

  • Sound-dampening paint


Small Committee Meeting Room

  • Wood table, blue and wood-tile walls

  • Best for conversational, or interview-style videos

Board Room Lobby

  • Blue walls, two high-back chairs, side table, lamp

  • Best for seated, conversational, or interview-style videos

Tip: Canva users can remove or replace video backgrounds, even from white backdrops.

Booking Length & Availability

  • Appointments can be scheduled for 30 minutes or 1 hour

  • Typical availability:

    • Monday–Friday

    • 9:00–11:00 AM or 2:00–4:00 PM

    • Based on staff and room availability & class and events schedule

⚠️ Your reservation is not confirmed until you receive a calendar invitation from FAAR staff.  That calendar invite is the official confirmation of your booking.

Script & Preparation Requirements

To keep sessions efficient and polished:

    • Scripts are required for all studio recordings

    • Scripts must be emailed before your appointment

    • Scripts are uploaded to the teleprompter in advance

    • Practice your script out loud before your session for best results

Wardrobe & Filming Tips

  • Do not wear green if using the green screen background

  • Avoid tiny stripes or high-contrast patterns

  • Solid colors film best

  • Feel free to bring multiple shirts to record several videos

How You’ll Receive Your Files

After your recording session:

  • Your raw video files will be delivered via email using a secure download link

  • Files are typically too large to send as email attachments

  • The download link will be sent to the email address used on your booking form

  • Please download and save your files promptly once received

Important notes:

  • Files are delivered as recorded (no editing or trimming)

  • FAAR does not store files long-term

  • Members are responsible for backing up their content once downloaded

This process ensures fast delivery while keeping your files secure and easy to access.

  3. Send your completed script by email the day before your appointment
  4. Watch for your calendar invitation confirming the booking

Scripts are requested for all videos filmed in the FAAR studio. FAAR has a teleprompter system that can be utilized to keep your videos polished and on-script. Please email scripts to lcooley@faarmembers.com before your appointment.

Please provide a few date and time options for your reservation. FAAR office hours are 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
Feel free to bring in multiple shirts if you'd like to change outfits between videos.
